St. James Church will host an unforgettable performance in the Sounds of St James Concert Series, "A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols." This event is the perfect prelude to Christmas! Sunday, December 10 at 4:00 PM
You will find yourself transported in scripture and song through the Nine Lessons (readings) which retell of God’s love and relationship with humanity. Each Lesson will be enhanced by beautiful sacred music and traditional Christmas carols. This majestic combination of word and music tells the story of the fall of humanity in the Garden of Eden through the promise of the Messiah, and finally the joyous birth of Christ Jesus.
A Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols will be performed by the combined choirs and soloists from St. James and St. Clement Parishes, directed by Janet Guetle.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with Benediction will conclude the service.
Free admission | Free will offerings accepted.
