The rich melodies and harmonies of the Sounds of St. James concerts return to St. James Church on Nov. 5, 2023 at 4pm. This special opening concert will feature the Guetle Cello Duo, Elisabeth Guetle and Olivia Guetle, both accomplished musicians and daughters of Music Director Janet Guetle. The energy, joy and intricate melodies of Telemann's Canonic Sonata No. 2 and Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Cellos in G Minor will truly lift your spirits! These quick-tempo pieces demonstrate the performers' mastery of their instruments. Vocal performances by Gillian Beckman, Liz Aranda, and Yasmin Gerardi of the Cleveland Institute of Music are showcased in the much beloved music of Mozart, Shubert, Dell'acqua and Quilter.
