About The Event
Take a Deep Dive into Liturgy this Lent.
Join a small group Lenten Study each Monday at the St. James Parish Center, February 24th through April 6th from 7-8:30 pm. 17400 Northwood Ave., directly behind the church.
We will use Formed's Opening The Word program to guide our spiritual journey as we seek the Lord through prayer, study, and discussion.
Each session stands alone and you are welcome to come to as many as you are able; however, you will have a deeper experience the more frequently you attend. Sign ups are not required but recommended.
Weekly sessions will discuss the upcoming Sunday's readings. For example, on February 24, the first session, we will read and discuss the Mass readings for Sunday March 1. You can sign up for Formed for free HERE. You should print appropriate parts of the Opening the Word Year A Journal from Formed and bring them with you each session. You can find the Opening the Word program HERE including the Year A Journal that will be used each week.
